I build growth at the intersection of commercial strategy, digital commerce, product and technology.
The common thread in my career is that I gravitate toward problems where the answer is not obvious yet: a new channel, a new business model, a constrained market, an unfamiliar technology. I like figuring out what matters, creating structure around it, and turning it into something commercially useful.
Most careers pick a lane. Mine keeps crossing them. I've run trade marketing across a 3,000-store distribution network. Managed e-commerce accounts worth more than €10M across Europe and the Middle East. Built partner commerce across 1P and 3P models with partners like Zalando and JD Sports. Designed the KPI framework and governance for a membership and loyalty ecosystem. And owned the roadmap of a commerce platform as a Product Owner, working directly with engineering and solution architecture.
Few roles ask you to speak commercial, product, data and operations fluently. I've had to.
The proof those lanes compound: at adidas, I helped scale the operating model behind global partner-commerce programs representing approximately €120M in annual revenue. No single job on its own explains that; the intersections do.
More recently I've added AI and automation to that foundation: agents, workflows, tools that turn fragmented information into systems people can actually use. For me, AI is not a career reset. It is another layer on top of the commercial, product and digital experience I already have.
I'm now looking for a role where that kind of problem is the job.

US-born, Saudi-started, Canadian-raised, now German-based. English and Arabic natively, German at B2 and climbing. Three continents, three languages, and a working theory that curiosity about places, people and cultures is a commercial skill. So far, the data supports it.
In 2023 I trekked roughly 180 kilometres to Everest Base Camp, the hardest physical thing I've ever done. I road cycle, mountain bike, play padel and tennis, and at adidas I ran a 45-minute colleague HIIT session known, with affection, as "Hesham's House of Pain."
I've baked for about ten years, and food is how I travel. After adidas, I seriously considered opening a café. I still might. Most recently: father. Best role yet.
Nuremberg, Germany. English and Arabic natively, German at B2. Open to international and EMEA opportunities based from Germany.
